The past week I have been at training camp up in Gainesville, GA. Having lived in Georgia all of my life I did not think it would get cold this soon, but I was wrong. There were a couple of mornings when I was pretty cold, but once I dug my sweater out of my other bag it was all good. Throughout the week we heard multiple speakers presenting topics on spiritual warfare, living in boldness, listening prayer, believing God, healing, and other things. One cool analogy I heard about Satan's attempts to attack is this: In 1 Peter it says that Satan prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. I was told that when a lion attacks a prey the male lions will walk around a circle and roar in hopes to frighten the prey and make them run away and once they run away the female lions attack (Nick or Josh ya'll should wikipedia that and find out). We were encourage when the enemy roars at us we were encouraged to stand firm. I still am amazed that I will be in Peru for 9 months. There have been so many people that have been lifting me up in prayer and it is amazing to see how God works through other people. Once we get in Peru we will be introduced to multiple ministries around the area and I will be able to choose a ministry to invest my life in. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do in my life and through my life while I am in Peru. I believe God is going to show me what it means to be a disciple of Christ, what it means to be pursued and filled with his relentless love, what it means to fully surrender to Him who has a plan for my life full of hope and prosperity, and what it means to live for His glory and His honor. I hope to be updating what is going on once a week, thank you for your prayers.
