Update

I have spent the last week recuperating from being ill.  It was no fun being sick and not being able to do much.  After a few days of being sick, realizing I was not getting better I became discouraged.  It seems that there have been a lot of distractions lately that the enemy is trying to throw at me.  I have been reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against it is against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).  When God is working on our hearts and we begin responding towards His work in us we can be assured that the enemy will not go down quietly.  Satan will try his best to keep intimacy from taking place between us and the Father.  Despite feeling sick and discouraged I have been feeling much better the past two days and I am looking forward to the next month here in Peru.  We will be going to Chincha in a week for another short-term trip.  There is the possibility that I will stay in Chincha until I come home in December.  I want to thank all of you for your faithful prayers and continued support.  It is always encouraging knowing that there are people praying for me.
